What fees are involved?
Payable to the mortgage lender for the administration of the case. This can be added to the overall loan or paid upon submission of the application or before completion.
Payable to Giles Finance & Consultancy Services for arranging the actual property valuation which is required by the mortgage lender. Please note that a copy of this valuation is normally only sent to the mortgage lender. This fee is non-refundable must be paid upon submission of the application.
The mortgage lender may use the same solicitor as the customer (the practice must have 2 or more partners). The lender’s legal fees are payable by the customer for initiating the process. This is payable to the lender solicitor. The client also pays for their own legal fees.
A charge for securing a certain mortgage rate usually only found on fixed rates. This may become payable upon submission of the application.
